The most popular British names for 2018 are hot off the press from the Office of National Statistics.

　　Once again, Oliver was top in England and Wales, for the sixth year, and Olivia remained the top name for girls for the third year in a row.

　　New (or back) into the Top 100 are Grayson, Jasper, Rowan, Tobias, Sonny and Dominic for boys; Ada, Delilah, Ayla, Zoe, Margot and Felicity for girls. Of these, Grayson, Rowan, Tobias, Delilah, Ayla and Margot have never ranked in the Top 100 before, and Ada has not ranked since 1924.

　　Margot and Grayson were the highest rising names overall in 2018’s Top 100.

　　Other notable risers already within the Top 100 include Hunter, Ezra, Finn, Jesse for boys and Mila, Hallie, Bonnie and Summer for girls.
