It’s impossible to know how many celeberries we have out there, but every so often a celebrity couple has such good taste, I wonder if they’re one of us. Take Caterina Scorsone and Rob Giles. Their daughters are named Eliza and Paloma, called Pippa. Eliza has been one of Nameberry’s top recommendations for years, and both Paloma and Pippa rank among our favorites. I wouldn’t be surprised if Melissa and David Fumero were Berries, either. They named their son Enzo, a name so suave and fashionable it almost hurts.

　　For Alejandra Silva and Richard Gere, it’s all about historic, classic names. Just one year ago they named their son Alexander, and Alejandra’s seven-year-old is Albert. Their youngest children have a British royal vibe going on with their names, so taking that into consideration, these are my top picks for their next baby.

It cracked the Top 1000 for the first time in 2012 at #907, but by 2013 was already at #383. At the time it was seen as a modern and uncommon name—one that was different enough, but similar to familiar names such as Ellery and Evelyn. My guess is that Jenna and Steve will choose a name with similar momentum for this baby, perhaps one of the following names on an upward trajectory:

They’re now expecting their second child, and chances are we’ll see another sweet, well-liked name for him or her. My top choices for a daughter are Audrey and Sadie, names that feel vintage with a modern edge, like Ella. For a son, Miles or Charlie seem to best fit their style.

These spunky names are cute but substantive, and I love that they used Pippa as a nickname for Paloma—two great names in one! Since Caterina and Rob appear to be Berries at heart, the names I chose for them are beloved by our readers (over half appear in the Nameberry Top 100!).

I’d love to see them revive a rarer vintage name like Bruno, but I could also see them going the trendier route, maybe with something like Arlo or Mateo.

　　NBC news anchor Hallie Jackson and her husband Frank Thorp are going to welcome a baby girl in April! As I’ve said before, the names of reporters’ children are often more mainstream than their other celebrity counterparts—we tend to see a lot of Top 100 names with this crowd. However, Hallie and Frank have a French Bulldog named Dawkins—a name nowhere near the Top 1000 (it was given to fewer than five babies last year!). Part of the appeal of Dawkins is its preppy, surname vibe. Should they go that route for their daughter, these are some choices Frank and Hallie might like:

It’s a great choice for the child of a mother who travels between America and France—easily understandable in both languages and stylish in each culture. Should Clémence want to repeat that success with baby number two’s name, I have picked out some attractive options for her.

　　Actress Danielle Panabaker is pregnant with her first child! She’s pretty private about her personal life online, but she does show lots of love for her pup, Elliot. If her dog naming style gives us any indication of her baby naming style, I could see this going in a couple of directions. Perhaps Danielle and Hayes were charmed by Elliot’s gentleness and creative associations. In that case I could see them picking a name like Calvin or Silas for a boy, and Daisy or Willa for a girl. If they were drawn to Elliot’s trendy-yet-timeless quality, I could see them choosing something along the lines of Henry or Oliver, Lillian or Lucy.
